Yahoo! Switch
I came across this cool feature. Don’t know, how long this has been into existence. I discovered this, when I was switching content type in Yahoo settings from Australia to US and then to UK to get the new today page for Yahoo Mail. Its the switch package. Basically you can import everything from Hotmail, Gmail accounts to your Yahoo! account. I have just tried Hotmail account and it imported my mails and contacts.
Now thats really cool. But why should I switch to Yahoo!? I am currently evaluating options for using ‘hosted’ domains for free. This is currently being offered by Live Mail and Gmail. Yahoo! does not even fit into the paradigm. Hold on for more…
