SharePoint: WSS3 and MOSS 2007 SP1
Service Pack 1 for WSS3 and MOSS 2007 is in internal testing. It is expected to be released soon. I got this news last week (from within Microsoft) and meant to blog, just couldn’t get it out any earlier.
SharePoint Team Blog have now indicated that on October 9 2007, an important hotfix will be released.
Stay tuned for the updates and it’s implications. Last time SP3 broke WSS2 and SPS2003. Microsoft have identified issues with SP3 and working on fixing it.
Will come back as soon as the links to SP1 (Security Hotfix) are released.
Update: Infact Joelo had mentioned this much earlier. If only I had read it then! Well, now it does validate what I got to know from an internal team member.
Update: Security fixes available, refer to this post.
