Windows 7 Feature Walkthrough Move The Connection Bar
Windows 7 has some really cool features. One of them I discovered in the Beta version and also in RC is the ability to move the connection bar when in full screen.
This is very helpful when you have may have multiple RDP sessions and the connection bars over lap each other. It can get very confusing unless you have some kind of background information as to which server or workstation you are logged into.
Now with Windows 7 (RC) you can have multiple RDP connection bars that can be re arranged as per this video.
Per these screenshots, you can see that I have moved the connection bar to left and then to right. This is a very neat feature that you can use when you have multiple RDP sessions running and with this feature you can move the connection bars, spreading them across the screen. So if you have four RDP sessions running concurrently, you can now have 4 connection bars sitting next to each other, rather then over lapping!
Now that’s cool!
