Tech.ED Aus: Office Keynote
Excellent presentation by Angus Logan and Arpan Shah. I have been using Office 2007 Beta2 since it’s release, but I did pickup some more features that I had not come across.
Some of the interesting features of 2007 MOSS being
- Search Center
- People Find / Social Mapping
- Control Search with GPO – Means you can define how much and what you can search? Now that is awesome.
- Focus and investment on Enterprise Search and RSS
- Speaking of RSS, you can get RSS Feeds for your search. Now thats really awesome, since any changes since last search, will be ‘fed’ to you!
- Then there is DUET, LOBi….
All in all, I enjoyed this session.
