Currently there are two SharePoint exams available. These exams now …qualify for the new generation designation Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).They were previously known as Partner Competency Exams.

Honestly, I did not know there were any certifications for SharePoint Technologies. In my conversation at Tech.Ed in Sydney, Arpan Shah had indicted that come this November, exams for SharePoint Technologies will be made available.

However, the exam site says these exams became available November 2004!

I am surely interested in these exams, but where does this certification lead to? MCTS?

Just like my MCSE (NT4) and upgrade to MCSE(2000) had couple of exams, in this case there are only two exams. Where will they lead to? What’s the complete path to it?
