Gmail is open to all. Now before they knock your socks off, get in the door with Google Apps for your domain. Why? It seems that Google may start charging for the services. I have been using Apps for 5 of my many domains. Others are on the Microsoft turf.

With Google Apps for Domains you can choose any combination of these Google services

The start page  -  A central place for your users to preview their inboxes and calendars, access your essential content, and search the web. ( I don”t see this option as yet in my domain CP )

Gmail  -  Offer email to your users with 2 gigabytes of storage per account, search tools to help them find information fast, and instant messaging built right into the browser.

Google Talk  -  Your users can call or send instant messages to their contacts for free — anytime, anywhere in the world.

Google Calendar  -  Users can organize their schedules and share events, meetings and entire calendars with others.

Google Page Creator  -  Create and publish web pages for your domain quickly and easily with this what-you-see-is-what-you-get page design tool.

Soon to be added are Docs and Spreadsheets. I have been using gmail, gcal with my domains and it rocks! Have not tried the Start Page and the Page Creator. But if you haven’t got your self an account, get in fast. It won’t stay for long if what I read from Amit Agarwal of Digital Inspiration is to be true in the coming weeks if not days.
