Who is Alpesh Nakar

Who is he?
He is the author owner of this blog. That’s Alpesh Nakar to give that picture a name. Alpesh comes from Mumbai, the Financial Capital of India and migrated to Australia in May 2003. He is an Australia Citizen now, having naturalised on January 2006 - which happens to be India’s Republic Day and Australia Day! What a day to be naturalised!
What does he do?
Hmm. Can he answer that? Lets see…
He works with Queensland Government as an IT Professional as his day job. By night he is with the family and also studies.
What does he study at this age?
Do you know his age? Then? By the way his birthday is on May 9. So wish him on that day! You can use the Contact Form for that. Ok to answer your question. He is studying for his Masters of Business Administration & Masters of Information Technology at Queensland University of Technology. He does study part-part-time and does manage to keep his head above the water from what I hear. He is almost half way through now. Yes. That photo you see is his current photo, so till date he has not lost lot of hair!
Interesting. Well what is his work specialisation?
He loves SharePoint and is very passionate. So much so that he manages 11 SharePoint Portals and under them 1300 Windows SharePoint Services sites! Crazy! In addition to that he is Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 administrator and he monitors 160 servers from all over the state of Queensland. He does not manage these but co-ordinates with Server Administrators for these servers.
How does he manage to maintain this blog?
He is passionate about IT and this blog is not the only site his name hangs of it. He currently has around 10 personal domains that he manages. This will always remain his first blog. Since then he started writing for other blogs either as a guest blogger or on revenue sharing model. He does manage all of this, because he loves to share his experiences and his knowledge. Maybe that is the reason he is passionate about SharePoint!
Why does his themes keep changing?
He personally would like to have a custom design for his blog and some day he will. But for now, he is in search of a design that will deliver the content with ease and also help him maintain this and other blogoventures. So, for now he keeps checking themes and will settle in one day with a custom design. Amen! If you would like to offer him some advice, use can always use the contact form.
Whew! Can we stop now?
Ok. Until the next time… Wait! Don’t forget to subscribe to his feeds or via email. He does have a basic web page here…
